collection Description

The Moruya and District Historical Society holds a portrait of Percy Davis, whose tribal name was Narramurrao, and who was one of the last links with the language of the Yuin people. He died at Moruya in 1968. The portrait won first prize at the local Moruya Show. Other photographs include individuals who are part of various group photos. The photo collection has been digitised but is only available to view in the library of the Society.

Welcome to the Yuin Digital Keeping Place. This website is intended to record and share information on events and people that have impacted on Yuin history, language and lifestyle. Over the coming years, we will include an even wider and richer collection of stories from Yuin Families.
